What a weekend!

I was again invited my OMS to create the games for a full weekend event and I had a blast with airsofters from all over Norway and Sweden. The amount of hours on my feet made me sleep like a baby last night.

Leaving home at 0500 for a 3,5h drive to Moss, arriving at around 0830 to prep the first games that were going to start at 1100 up till 1630. In this first part I created a rotation system with ongoing missions for 3 teams. 2 teams were always in the game while the others were on break. With a rotation time of 2min, there was constant pressure on teams to keep up the tempo and they did that perfectly!

From 1700 till 1930 I introduced Norway to the Airsofter World Games and I got a lot of positive reviews so it looks like this will be a keep and more is coming in the near future. This weekend was just a teaser to what it is and what is possible. The next event will be a full day, more organised and with good schedule to keep things going.

From 2000 till 2230 there was the night game with various missions with light, music, sneaking and some team kills.

At 2330 I fell asleep in my luxurious room. Waking up at 0800 for another day of airsoft. I knew some people needed to leave early so we pushed 2 games in a good tempo and ended the last game with 6 people playing till 1615. I said my goodbyes and packed my stuff to drive back home.

Intense but awesome weekend!

The Bergen group rented a bus with driver for a 10h+ drive. The Nesbeyen crew was present in good numbers and then of course all the other people coming in from all different areas for this weekend event.

With over 60 people joining in for the weekend, it was hectic but good. Little to no complaints about rule breaking and if there was an discussion it was resolved in a friendly matter. Smiling, competitive, tired and sweaty people were everywhere and that is a success in my book. Airsoft is an awesome community and events like this show this 100%.

Big thanks to OMS for putting trust in me to organise this weekend! I already look forward to the next one.
