Som en del av er säkert redan sett från andra källor har MSB äntligen publicerat sin nya författning för användning av pyroteknik som träder i kraft den 1a april.
Vi vet att valet av datum är lite olyckligt men vi vill vara tydliga med att detta inte är ett skämt :D
SAR har aktivt arbetat för att få till en bra användning av pyroteknik sedan den förra regeländringen 2019.
Den största saken som gjorts öppet är att hålla D-utbildningar så att användningen kunde fortsätta på ett lagligt sätt men vid sidan av detta har vi hela tiden lobbat mot MSB för att få reglerna ändrade och förtydligade.
I den 11e paragrafen i författningen MSBFS 2025:2 står följande:
11 § Under överinseende av ansvarig arrangör får simuleringsartiklar i kategori P1 avsedda för paintball- eller airsoftaktiviteter, utan krav på särskild utbildning eller tillstånd till användning, användas inom ett avgränsat område dit allmänheten inte har tillträde under tiden då aktiviteten pågår. En deltagare till paintball- eller airsoftaktiviteter får utan tillstånd förvara högst 1 kg av sådana artiklar.
Detta innebär i praktiken att användning av rök- och spränggranater nu är tillåtet för alla även utan utbildning, förutsatt att de bara används under speltillfällen samt att man numera får förvara upp till 1 kilo utan tillstånd.
Viktigt att veta är att 1kg är räknat på NEC (Net Explosive Content) och en spränggranat innehåller bara runt 3 gram sprängämne så det blir en hel del som kan förvaras.
Vi har dock full förståelse för att det finns folk därute som kanske gått vår utbildning nyligen och nu känner att det var lite bortkastat.
Vi vill dock att ni alla ska veta att det är till största delen på grund av er som denna ändring gått att få till.
Det är genom utbildningarna och allt pappersarbete som skickats in till MSB som vi har kunnat visa dem att det faktiskt finns ett stort och genuint intresse för dessa produkter inom airsoft och paintball samt att nuvarande regelverk skapar ett problem för oss alla.
Vi vill helt enkelt rikta ett stort tack till alla som gått utbildningen genom åren men även till andra aktörer inom Sveriges Airsoft som tillsammans har lyckats få till denna seger.

Hello everyone out there.
As some of you have probably already seen from other sources, the MSB has finally published its new statute for the use of pyrotechnics, which will come into force on April 1st.
We know that the choice of date is a bit unfortunate, but we want to be clear that this is not a joke :D
SAR has been actively working to ensure good use of pyrotechnics since the last rule change in 2019.
The biggest thing that has been done openly is to hold D-training courses so that use could continue in a legal manner, but in addition to this, we have constantly lobbied the MSB to have the rules changed and clarified.
The 11th paragraph of the statute MSBFS 2025:2 states the following:
§ 11 Under the supervision of the responsible organizer, simulation items in category P1 intended for paintball or airsoft activities, without requiring special training or permission for use, may be used within a delimited area to which the public does not have access during the time the activity is taking place. A participant in paintball or airsoft activities may store a maximum of 1 kg of such items without a permit.
This means in practice that the use of smoke and blast grenades is now permitted for everyone in Sweden, even without training, provided that they are only used during games and that you can now store up to 1 kilo without a permit.
It is important to know that 1 kg is calculated on NEC (Net Explosive Content) and a blast grenade only contains around 3 grams of explosives, so that is a lot that can be stored.
However, we fully understand that there are people out there who may have taken our training recently and now feel that it was a bit of a waste.
However, we want you all to know that it is largely because of you that this change has been made.
It is through the training and all the paperwork that has been submitted to MSB that we have been able to show them that there is actually a large and genuine interest in these products within airsoft and paintball and that the current regulations create a problem for all of us.
We simply want to extend a big thank you to everyone who has taken the training over the years, but also to other players within Swedish Airsoft who together have managed to achieve this victory.
