Hello Airsofters,

We are pleased to invite you to OP: Rogue Gambit. This is the fourth operation in the Goldavian conflict, a story we want to continue for the 20th anniversary of the First SCOPE Division. It will be a complex, team-oriented 27-hour Airsoft OP that focuses on Milsim and LARP. This event is not suitable for beginners.

We have developed paintball-launcher-like systems for vehicle combat and hope this will bring a new dynamic to the game. The first 10 players who bring an in-game vehicle and agree to use it for their team will be able to participate in the event for free.

Schedule:

Arrival on Friday is possible.

Saturday:

  • 09:00 Arrival / Camp Briefing
  • 09:00 Check-in, Equipment check, Chrono
  • 10:00 Briefing (Check-in closed)
  • 10:30 OP Prep
  • 11:00 Game Start

Sunday:

  • 14:00 OP End
  • 14:15 Debrief / Patch distribution

Costs:

80€ per person (please bring exact change)

Gameplay Explanations:

This time we focus on LARP and Milsim. Each side will be provided with AT weapons for disabling vehicles (AT launchers based on paintball systems). In addition to your main missions, two LARP teams will offer missions, and you will also be able to create your own missions, primarily aimed at disrupting the enemy teams' objectives. Effective leadership and good communication will be central to your success.

Accommodation:

Players can choose to sleep in-game or off-game. Each base will have space for tents in the respawn zone, which will be taped-off and completely off-game. Protective eyewear must be worn in this camping zone nontheless. There is also off-game sleeping available in the barracks.

Tents Off-Game: Private tents can also be placed in-game, but gameplay will occur around them. Players can take cover behind a tent. The inside of the tents is always off-game, and it is strictly forbidden to shoot in or out of tents.

Night Shift Plan: Your team organisation will attempt to create a watch plan for the night to protect your achievements from being stolen. Participation in the night shift is voluntary, but we hope you will be willing to contribute to your team.

Team Playstyle Assessment:

STF311:

  • More offensive playstyle (about 60-70% offensive)

UPF:

  • More defensive playstyle (about 60% defensive)

Armband Color and Uniform Recommendations:

STF311 (Security Task Force 311) (Team Armband Blue)

  • For jacket and pants, same camouflage pattern (if possible, western camo)

UPF (Team Armband Green)

  • For jacket and pants, one camo and one solid color or two different camo patterns

Joule/FPS Limits:

  • <=1.2J (300fps with 0.30g) no minimum distance
  • <=1.5J (330fps with 0.30g) 5m minimum distance
  • <=3.0J (380fps with 0.45g) 20m minimum distance (check French law for weapons above 2J)

Special Rules:

  • In-game vehicles are an integrated part of the game. Mutual consideration is required.
  • Semi-only game (except MGs, minimum weight 4kg).
  • ATTENTION MAGAZINES: Real, Low, and Mid-Caps only.
  • MGs with box mags allowed.

Catering:

Everyone is responsible for their own meals (grilling is encouraged).

Barracks:

Overnight stays are possible in the barracks. No play occurs inside the barracks, but around it. Cars must be moved away before the game starts.

Game Rules:

Alcohol and Drugs: Consumption of alcohol is prohibited before and during the game. Strict drug prohibition.

Hit: If hit, the player must announce this loudly and raise their hand. Every player carries a white medic armband (issued at checkin). The hit player can wait a maximum of 5 minutes at the spot. During this time, a teammate can heal them by tying on the armband. If the hit player moves away from their position, they can no longer be healed and must return to respawn. Teammates can drag a hit player to cover.

Grenades: If the grenade explodes, everything within a 5m radius is automatically hit, unless there is solid cover between the player and the grenade. No grenades over 100db are allowed at night.

Gotcha/Savekills/Shot/Bang Rule: Savekills are voluntary and do not have to be accepted. They should only be used in clear situations.

Ladders/Ropes: On ladders or ropes, players are "out of game" and cannot be shot.

Magazine Capacities: Real, Low, and Mid-Caps only. MGs with box mags allowed (MG gunners are asked to bring a backup for balancing).

Respawn: Respawn occurs every 20 minutes. Always at the full hour, 20 past, and 20 before. Players can respawn for a full minute (e.g., 14:20 to 14:21).

Each team has 2 respawns:

  • Fixed Respawn: A fixed respawn zone near the team's base that cannot be attacked.
  • Field Hospital (FH): Each team can set up a mobile respawn consisting of:
    • A tent
    • A pylon
    • A flag in team color As long as the flag is in the pylon, the mobile respawn can be used. The FH can be taken down and rebuilt elsewhere. The flag cannot be transported in the pylon, and respawning cannot occur during transport. If an enemy removes the flag from the pylon (the flag must remain on the ground next to the pylon), the FH is off-game and must return to the base.

Base: Each team has a base where all point-relevant achievements are kept. In-game items cannot be hidden. Enemy bases can be raided and looted.

LARP Players: LARP players can participate normally but may not enter the save zone. If hit, they wait in place until healed. After 20 minutes, they are automatically back in the game or definitively dead (depending on their role). In disabled status, they can be transported. Only LARP players can be captured.

In-Game Vehicles: Each vehicle assigned to a team must be marked with the team color. In-game vehicles can be disabled by a paintball hit. The hit only counts if it lands on a vehicle window or explodes inside the vehicle (if a window is open). It is strictly forbidden to shoot directly at players with the paintball launcher. If a vehicle is hit, the driver is automatically hit. All passengers must exit within 20 seconds. If they remain in the vehicle after 20 seconds, they are hit. If a vehicle is off-game, it must be signaled with the hazard lights. The driver is responsible for the vehicle and should only leave it if parked without blocking paths.

Burnout Duration (for vehicles): If a vehicle is hit, it must (if possible) remain on the right roadside and wait for a 10-minute burnout duration. During this time, an engineer can begin repairs. If the vehicle is burned out, it must return to base respawn and can respawn there at the next full hour (Vehicles cannot respawn at Field-Hospitals).

Engineer (for vehicles): Each vehicle may have one engineer. The engineer is marked by visibly carrying a large wrench. To repair, the engineer must touch the vehicle’s hood. The repair time is 20 minutes. If two engineers are present, both can repair simultaneously, reducing the repair time to 10 minutes.

Story: OP: Rogue Gambit

After OP: Light Craft, events unfolded rapidly. The UPF managed to gain the support of a powerful member of the UN Security Council, which led to a veto that halted the long-standing Goldavien campaign. The UNSF, tasked with recovering the nuclear warhead and the captured pilot, struggles to complete their mission. A small group from UNSF Bravo Team disregards the mission stop and attempts to rescue the pilot and locate the warhead on their own.

Parties:

GNA - Goldavia National Army: The GNA includes the regime-loyal regular forces of Goldavia, as well as a special forces program that has greatly benefited from cooperation with the UNSF in recent years.

UNSF (United Nations Special Forces): The UNSF is an internationally assembled special unit acting as a rapid response force for the UN Security Council. While the UNSF excels in reconnaissance and special operations, it does not have Tier-1 rights.

STF311 (Security Task Force 311): The STFs are task forces comprised of UN and GNA units tasked with knowing their assigned region, securing outposts or FARPs, and conducting reconnaissance. Due to their familiarity with the terrain, STFs can also be deployed as QRF locally.

UPF (United Peace Force): The population in the mountainous north has long suffered under the Goldavian regime. Under General Bolsov, the mountain people formed a guerrilla army to fight for their independence. The mountains are rich in resources, making them essential for the Goldavian regime.
