Event rules description

The Op

Throughout WWII, there was an anti-fascist underground movement in Germany, known as Widerstand (literally, “Resistance”). This small, disjointed cells of resistance fighters were unable to coalesce into a larger organized group, like the French Resistance, and spent most of their time trying to talk the Wehrmacht into staging a coup, and being a general nuisance.

In October 1944, world renown scientist, Dr. Paul Flammond, was imprisoned by the Germans to develop a powerful weapon. The German Widerstand must plan a daring rescue mission. Further, they learn that there is a traitor in the resistance; who might be the traitor?

There may be considerable roleplay in this one.

The Belligerents

Blue Team – The German Wehrmacht, or regular army. If you don’t have a period uniform, modern German camo would be great too. Volkssturm players please wear civilian period clothing.

Green Team – The German Widerstand, or resistance. Civilian period clothing is preferred .. or at least the attempt thereof.

As always, this is not a strict reenactment. Please come as you are! “Civilian period clothing” can be an approximation, or as simple as “nothing tactical”.

While we encourage period uniforms and insignia, the Staff at SAASMaine, and the players choosing to roleplay the Axis, are in NO way cool with Nazis and what they represent
