IWA day 2,

I thought yesterday was a busy day, today was even 'worse'. I planned some meetings again and in between the meetings, I met so many different people that I basically hopped from one conversation to another, being stopped by someone else to then go to the next conversation.

Even though it was hectic, it was a very good day and I was able to spread the Verage Airsoft and Airsofter World news.

I just finished my summary of the day, that helps me to remember all the things I talked about because during the meeting, I forget to note things down. I wanted to take pictures with all the people I met but I just didn't think about it, again. I do have some interesting things that happened and people I met to list in the day 2 report.

Starting off with slow stroll through hall 2 to check out some products from Phylax that build custom builds, amazingly nice builds. They showed the pink rifle to Lisa, which was funny because she is not a fan of pink. But that pink rifle was nice.

We visited the Airsoft Helden booth where you could run a target shooting thing and I tried it and set down a time of about 38 seconds, which wasn't the fastest but I had fun and the blood started pumping to start the day.

Next up strolling on through the other boots, meeting some friendly people and chatting up till the meeting with Delta Armory to talk about Airsofter World. Walking up there we were stopped 3 times by people I had not seen in a very long time, quick chat and quickly go for the meeting.

This made time for a quick lunch break in the press room and 30min later, getting back out there to see the new Novritsch stuff and surprise, talk to the people. We will be back later to finish the talk.

30 minutes later up to ICS for a meeting about the future of me partnering with ICS as an ICS Captain that I have been doing since 2018. This partnership has been a special for me because ICS Airsoft is a company that takes a leap of faith and tries new things. They have been supporting Airsofter World for a while now because they believe that this is a good step for the airsoft community. ICS does not stand still but moves forward and tries new things. On the side, they make awesome rifles that, out of the box, are great pieces of engineering for each type of player.

Directly after this hour meeting, I sat down with the other people behine Airsofter World to discuss potential ideas to bring more organisers and people to the platform. Which is not an easy task to do, because it's up to you the player to jump on it and start using it. We can do only so much, but it's up to the community to believe that this is the correct way forward. Wrapping up this hour talk to move to the next meeting which was with ASG.

ASG is a company that is silent in what they do but keep working in different directions. Here the meeting was a sequel of the teams meeting we had the week before and more focused on Airsofter World and how we need to bring the app back to the app store, so players have a more easy access platform to use. It's coming and hopefully we can strike a deal to have it up and running really soon.
The meetings are long because it covers so much of the community that it's not a 30min sit down to discuss a price or fee, this needs a bit more time. Apparently, it needed a bit more than an hour and we could have gone for a lot more but we had to wrap it up.

To end of the day we went back to Novritsch because Lisa wanted to try the new SSR4 MK2 shorter rifle, cause she loves her SSR4 and this one was the upgraded version of that. It is also shorter out of the box, perfect for her. We kept talking after the testing and soon it was 1800 and the IWA people started to kick us out.

A quick drive by at the Lidl to get some food for the evening, take a shower and writing this report. Making myself ready for tomorrow for another day, packed with meetings and talks.
