I tested something on my YouTube channel.
I have the longer Berget videos, which take a lot of time to create. It sucks a bit that I do not reach more people with those longer videos and they are not getting promoted by Youtube as much. A lot of viewers are also watching on their phone and the longer videos are not the perfect time for them then. Still I wanted to spike their interest in what I do and bring them to the longer videos that show the full story.
Before each video, and at the end, I show what happened before and after, which are basically 'teaser' videos. So why not create a separate 'teaser' video of that and if people want to see more, they can just click the full video.
Yes, for some of you that follow the videos, it will be something that you have seen before. This is to reach new possible viewers and participants for Swedish big games.
It took a few days but the last video got picked up a bit and is reaching other viewers, which surprised me. Good data to try it again with the Part 06 video.
Funny thing is that on Youtube it's apparently better to share the teaser video after the release of the big video. This means people can just click the long video instead of waiting for it.
What do you think about those 'teaser' videos?
