September 2024, Update,
Summer is passing, which means that the summer of the big games is behind us. It does not mean that airsoft is at a standstill when the weather changes. Smaller games are happening all over the world and it’s our task to find them, contact the organisers so you can also join one of those games easily. We visited various organisers and fields to explain what we do and keep the communication open for the future.
Events, Update 03,
We’re hanging in phase 03, funding has been used to update the highest priorities and make sure all organisers can use Airsofter World. In the coming months we hope that we can continue our work and finish phase 03.

Strengthen Countries in the Airsofter World network,
Finding a person in a country isn’t the hardest job. Building a team that works together to improve airsoft in their country, that is a never ending task. That is why we keep searching and communicating with new groups, areas, associations and bringing them together. Those people are crucial in providing the correct information in a country and connecting us to the right people.
We grew the network in those countries,
- Romania (Association)
- Denmark
- Australia (Association)
- Portugal (Assocation)
- Italy
International Federation,
Monthly meetings with our partner associations are slowly but steady growing into a solid foundation. There are 2 important entities that are being created.
EAF, European Airsoft Federation, that focuses on Airsoft in Europe. With European legislation, it’s important to create a strong voice for our community.
IAF, International Airsoft Federation, for some countries, an international federation is needed to create an airsoft association in their country. It will strengthen the connection and community on a worldwide level.
Both federations are mostly supported by the same countries, the ones that are in the Airsofter World network. With Airsofter World, we create the connection and will be a partner of the coming federations to help grow the network.
This is a massive project that takes a lot of our time, but it is too important to not spend time and resources on it. We will keep you up to date about the situation in our upcoming updates.
Analytics,
The last months we saw an increase in activity in a few countries, while others were stable. User growth the last 28 days before this update letter.
You can see a big jump of activity in Sweden, United States, Belgium, Germany and a small increase in the Netherlands. This activity is because of the 2 Airsofter World Games and local organisers using the platform to promote their games. Slowly we grow in numbers and information.
Because of that the number of users jumped from 3000 to 3500+ users visiting each month.
We’re at 11467 users and growing steady at about 1% of users each month. A steady growth is important for the stability of Airsofter World.
Funding,
Airsofter World is being built by airsoft enthusiasts, while we’re passionate about the game and the future Airsofter World will bring, creating Airsofter World is expensive. To be able to fund this massive project we rely on 4 continuous ways of funding and one special way.
The four pillars that support Airsofter World are also the four pillars of our whole airsoft community. They provide the needed structure for airsofters to participate in the games they want. The list is sorted by priority, including the way they can provide support to Airsofter World, monetized or not.

Airsofter World Games,
Airsofter World Games is going full steam ahead and getting ready for 2025 to have the first national games in partnership with local associations and organisers. We had 2 events in September and are planning at least 3 more in 3 different countries. All to create the best possible game in 2025 to crown national champions and send them off to the international AWG in 2026.
The rulebook has been updated to a new version with some small additions on gear and rifles. We keep updating the rulebook after each test game to create a solid foundation for 2025. You can find the version 1.1 here, https://shorturl.at/pDaxw
Note, this is still a DRAFT version and will be in draft up till 2025 for the first national games.

The Belgium test game focused on a variation of the scenario and second location testing. Another successful test game that was completely run by the local association and organiser.
We had 3 test games and planning more,
- Sweden, second test game in October or November
- Portugal, first test game in december

The summer months have been hectic. Numerous talks with organisers from all over the world, searching for associations and finding them, visiting sites and communicating with players and organisers and countless online calls. This is how we create the Airsofter World network. There are passionate people everywhere. By connecting them together and joining forces we will be able to create the biggest and most stable foundation that airsoft has ever seen. I’m not the one finding all those people, it’s because of your tips, your motivation, your support that we can grow those connections. Every piece of information can lead to the next link, the next connection. That is why I want to thank you for this support. While funding is important to keep everything going, the network that is being built at the moment is priceless.
