For example navigating by map when the cell service is bad actually workes in your favor, as you have to study the terrain intently instead of staring at a screen - helped keep us aware of our surroundings at all times... Exept when we run straight into a tank in the red base :)
We also learned that rear doors is a good idea when you intend to push straight through an ambush - a hail of BB's often came in the rear of our truck haha!
I made some doors real quick before the next game we attended, and that helped our combat effectiveness greatly.
Being a mechanized unit is a big leap from our usual recon role, but the entire team enjoyed the event immensely, and we will gladly do it again :)
I agree, it was fun to go back to basics and use the things we normally have as backup systems. You can see who was ready for the change and who wasn't. Always relying on technology will get you in trouble. Next time I hope you pick to correct side and join Red team. ;)
Thanks for the great pushes and you guys gave us a hell of a fight!
Indeed! Can't beat the reliability of a map :D
Hehe we will absolutely consider it - if you bring lots of cookies!
Thanks for the great battles, you guys were awesome fighting against :D
That sounds awesome - hope it works out! :)
We will definitely consider that once we start the process of deciding what events/teams to join for the upcoming year :D
Haha, noo, we should probably get to it - only 10 months until gamestart :D
One of us one of us! Join the dar.. I mean the red side! 🖤
