Team work, I love it. Still on Sunday games it's very hard to keep the team together. It always starts of with good ideas and when the first shots are fired, chaos. Finding each other again after your walk to safezone can be difficult. While this is fun and there is a time and place for games like this, I missed the team play, the working together to achieve a goal or mission.
That's why I created the Team games. The first game was held about 10 years ago and I loved it. During the years I have perfected the way the games are played and the missions needed to be executed to what it is today. With the move to Sweden, I even added a last little piece of the puzzle.
While there is 'Teams' in the type of game, it's also for people that are not in a team or just a small team. During the day you work together with your group and stick together. Responsibilities are given to each member of the team to complete the objective.
Team Events are a perfect preparation game for events like Berget (Sweden), Bellum (Sweden) or Battlegroup (Finland). It gives an opportunity to test gear, tactics and people to find out what works and what doesn't work. Something that isn't always possible on a regular sunday game.
The games are a perfect in between for people that want to start going to bigger games but don't feel confident enough or people that already go to bigger games and just want to keep their practice up.
I love teamwork and that is why I love playing the Team Events myself. Airsoft is more than just shooting the other guy, while it's part of the game, it's the people around me and the completion of the objective that give me the best feeling during airsoft.
