Working in the airsoft community has been nice. The creative juices are flowing through by brain to create the best games possible and give the players a good day. Still, I'm myself a player and I love going out and run and gun.
Going out and clear my head is what I needed!
Choosing the right game for the day isn't always easy. It all depends on my mindset and this week I didn't want to think a lot and just pewpew and test my m249. Frysen is a perfect place for that. Short games on a small field, which was good because I had to do some in field repairs on the m249 to make it shoot as it should.
There are some more small changes I need to do on the m249,
- Adding a Perun mosfet to handle the 11,1V better
- Checking the nozzle because I think I have some leaks
- fixing my red dot sight, that is old and I maybe better retire and give it a special place
- check the loading system of the boxmag
Besides the m249 I also ran a CO2 revolver that I needed to set the hop, which I forgot. So that was funny to shoot with. I also tested some new gear setup as I played with a jacket instead of a combat shirt. I wanted to test the heat regulation system that works best. It was a few degrees above 0 and I had my thermals on, but that was waaaay to hot. Under the jacket I only had my tshirt, but that was enough.
You can also see that I ran a new chestrig, because I visit more shorter games, I wanted to test a smaller setup. More information will follow in a later video.
I filmed the game day and the first video will be online on Thursday and I have split it up in 2-3 different parts of about 10-15min.
If you like to join me in a game, check my calendar on my website, https://verageairsoft.com/events/
