As much as the UK NATIONAL AIRSOFT FESTIVAL always appears to garner some controversy, the fact of the matter is that I love it, and I’ve been attending the event every year since it started!
As I always say, it’s a weekend festival that celebrates airsoft that just happens to have a game attached; that’s my approach to it, and that’s what I’ll enjoy… the festival atmosphere with players of all types hanging out together and just enjoying doing their thing!
We’ll be shutting down AAHQ tonight before the we head off for the long haul to the event today, and as much as some poor souls will deride everything about it, just over 2800 people have signed up for the weekend, so it promises to be as popular as ever.
Some of the AA Crew will play, whilst others will be there purely to enjoy the Festival atmosphere, meet up with friends old and new, and eat WAY too much BBQ food!
If your heading there yourself, look out for the RED CELL patches and come say hi; if you’re playing elsewhere over this long weekend, than have fun with your own airsoft adventures!
Enjoy! I will not be there this year but maybe we will be there next year. It's fun to hang around the awesome people, but there are also other way of doing that. I'm easy when it comes to games, I have fun in most of the things I do, even though the field and style is not a thing I come to UK for. I rather visit some other fields and have a nice chat with the local community instead. But still, I will miss you guys.
