A gaiters is a fabric guard that covers the gap between your trousers and your boots.
What is the use of it in airsoft and why do I use. I’m actually surprised how few people I see using gaiters. I almost never go to an outdoor game without them.
Gaiters are used to protect your feet and lower leg from moisture or debris while playing.
So why are people not using it more, I have no idea. It’s a perfect piece of gear for us.
This piece of kit has made my days in the woods a lot better. Having dry socks and not having to take them off because of stones and other stuff got in my boots helps a lot.
I don't know in which layer this belongs. It's something between layer 1 and 2. It's not combat gear but it's protective gear. Maybe I have to make an extra category for that.
